A plane flies 22km north in 0.25h. It then proceeds south for 35km which take it 0.2h. What is the average velocity of the plane?

  1. What sort of wanker asks the same question twice? Boy, you must be galactically stupid to do this even when there's a perfectly logical answer on one of your questions.. go and hang yourself in shame, you blithering idiot.


  2. v = dist/time

    0.25h = 1/4*60 = 20 min

    22km/20m = avg v for that section

    then do the same thing for 35km & 0.2h
