Question:

Physics: please help me solve this problem?

At our school last term, they brought in a new subject called ‘physics education’. Well it wasn’t so much a new subject, just a variation on an old one. They take you to the gym and make you do press-ups and sit-ups and throwing balls about. It is very tiring and extremely boring. Some kids get out of it because they have asthma but I can’t feign the symptoms. Tell me, what is a good way to get out of physics?

  1. you probably feel like a bit of an idiot now don't you?

An easy way to get out of PE is to turn up without any gym kit. Maybe you could take physics instead it's NOT boring at all.

    Hope this helps :-)

  2. Do you mean "Physical Education?" Physics is a mixture of science and mathematics, not physical activities done for health and fitness.

Unless you have a physical disability, there is no reason why you should even be thinking about getting out of this class. Exercise should be an extremely important aspect of everyone's lives and you should feel priviledged that your school hasn't cut Physical Education from its budget, like many schools have had to do.

  3. Depending on your state and local school board physical education may not be a required course.  Talk to your parents and have them talk to your school and state educational council and see if it is.

  4. BWAAA hahaHeheeheheheehe hahahahhoohooo haheeHA...HAAACK !!!

  5. Well you have no problem there because what you described is not physics ergo you are already not a part of it!!

However if you were referring to Physical Education, I advise you to stick with it nomatter how boring because there are long term repercausions when you start skipping exercise... check out the obesity percentages in the US.

  6. Hey guy uyoumean physical education.it's good for health and you should not avoid it.This helps you to remain in good health and also have a fresh mind indirectly hepls you to do better in you r studies.

  7. You sir, are a idiot.

Thats Physical Education, Physics is a type of science, did you look at the category you put this in?

  8. Why is this a physics question?

  9. What you have been pressed into doing is 'Physical Education' and not 'Physics'. I presume you wanted to get out of this.

You can't escape these things, however much I sympathise with your condition. Just do it! It can't last forever. Discipline is 'doing a thing as it needs to be'. Try to enjoy it on the line. They can press you into it. But do it at your own pace, without getting tired.

  10. You could just refuse... I don't know. It's good for you to do it though.

I get the impression quite a lot of physicists are gonna try and answer this question, so unless you really wanted physicists, I would recatagorise it. Did you mean physical education (known as PE)?

Hope that is helpful (though I'm pretty sure it's not...)
