  1. 1) find A for Df=Di + Vi T + (1/2)AT^2

    3100m = 0 + 5.6m/s + (1/2)A(186s)^2

    A= .11899m/s^2

    2) find Vf  for Vf=Vi + AT

             Vf = 5.6 m/s + .11899(186s)

             Vf = 27.733 m/s

             Vf = 28 m/s to 2 significant digits

    I am assuming you have those formulas at your disposal.

    Hope that helps
