Physics question, please help?

The higher the energy of electromagnetic radiation the

a) shorter its wavelength

b) lower its frequency

c) higher the velocity of the light

d} greater the mass

e) longer its wavelength

P. S I think I know the answer, but I am not sure. Hopefully my answer will be confirmed by other users.

  1. the shorter its wavelenght....E=hc/L....where "L" is the wavelenght...E and L are inversely proportional...as E increases,L descreases...thus the shorter the wavelength


  2. A good trick for multiple choice questions is to eliminate the obvious wrong answers, limiting your correct possibilities.  I won't do your homework for you, but I can help by showing you what I mean.

    The speed of light is a constant, so, it can't be choice (c), which suggests that light speed can change.

    Electromagnetic radiation  has no mass, so, choice (d) is eliminated.

    The narrows down YOUR choices to the other three.  Apply what you know about the subject to see if you can narrow it down further, or actuall figure out the correct answer.  Does the higher energy affect the wavelength?  The frequency?
