Physics research assignment?

I am in year 12 and our assignment in Physics is to pick anything physics related and do a research assignment on it. I want it to be interesting. What could I do it on?

Ask yourself: What field of physics you really want to learn more about? First step is to narrow your search by asking yourself "what is interesting to me?"

Do it on something as closley related to your course as possible. That way you will have a deeper understanding on the subject material for when exam time comes.
