Phyto-vite supplement - any feedback from those who have taken it for a month or more?

Detailed description says: chelated dietary supplement. Advanced antioxidant, vitamin & mineral supplement. 180 tabs.

Just wondering what personal experiences anyone has had with this supplement - good or bad. Has it worked in improving the way you felt (pls specifcy how?). any side effects (what exactly)?

  1. Since nobody has answered yet, I'll toss in my 2 cents.

    I haven't tried it myself, but we have a very similar complex that is rather popular... it's basically a multivitamin with a variety of added herbs. Most of the herbs are basic antioxidants or cardiovascular health items plus a small amount of Ginkgo, Cayenne, and a few other misc herbs.

    In general, most people should get a little energy (assuming they aren't already taking a multi) because of the B vitamins and Chromium, plus there's a few things that will help the circulation (which can give more energy and an easier feeling while you're up and about). After a month's time, you should get used to the extra energy and should feel generally healthier (assuming a decent diet and overall lifestyle).

    However, after seeing the price (over $70 for a month's supply??), I'd suggest to get any of dozens of other formulations that are similar for around 20% of the price if not less... it's just nuts to pay that much for such a simple complex.
