PiECE OFF ANTARTICA HANGING BY THREAD!!!?

Question

Did you hear about the huge iceburg or something like that is hanging by a thread so to speak? scientists say it could break off in 30 yrs! see! this is due to global warming ovbiously! it was on the news a few weeks ago I think.I`m an Aussie so.....and they said that its as big as sydney or something?! if it defrosts it could be a disaster!...have I got my facts ight and what are your thought on this? did you hear?

I feel the same way about global warming as I do all the other stuff they're throwing around. I see no proof. I don't remember the numbers now but I watched a show about how little the earth has warmed up over the years. Every time there is a weird weather pattern they say global warming.  I've been around awhile now;  when I was a kid we had a Christmas that was like Spring and an Easter with snow. They show temperature records on the news and some of the hotest on record go back to early in the twentieth century

It may eventually melt, but the harm that could be done has to do with salt and fresh water and their ecosystems. Some creatures can't live in salt, some can't live without it so it is kinda something that worries scientists/marine biologists/ect..

All I have to say is we really won't  know how to handle it until it happens so lets hope and pray for the best ^_^
