Pick or no pick on bass guitar?

Question

Both have their good sides, but I personally prefer no pick.

Although, I do like picks for songs that need more articulation.

I never use a pick with my acoustic bass though. NEVER! xP

But not using a pick makes me feel like I have more control, and I like how the sound flows better.
