  1. You can select your own on American Airlines at no extra charge online, if you have an e-ticket.  If you have a paper ticket you'll need to call American Airlines and they will assign you seat.  You can visit www.seatguru.com to look at planes and seating arrangements.

  2. Some online airlines like Air Asia and I think Jetstar let you see the plan and pick your own seat from those not already taken by previous bookers.

    Air Asia charges about $7

  3. I don't think most airlines let you do this all the time, but usually you can switch seats to one you are more comfortable in if there are empty seats left over. Just ask at the gate if there will be extra seats and if you can change your spots, and generally they will let you do that.

  4. lala im nt sure lala la la deeee da da

  5. None airline now

  6. most no longer do this.

  7. Southwest is the only one that I am aware of. Most airlines let you pick the seat, but you have to do it before the flight and it is an assigned seat.

Southwest you can pick your seat as you walk on.
