right, I know I sound disgusting but I paid £2.20 (that's like $4.40?) for a pizza supper, and I dropped the pizza on the ground outside I quickly yelled "5 second rule!" and picked it up and ate it.

It sounds disgusting but can I get really ill from it?! I'm really worried because usually I'm such a cautious person and won't do something like that, but I had a few bevvies.

My friends said they'd do the same if they dropped there, and I know they would.

Still though, I'm sooo worried :/

  1. In a Kitchen, no such thing, floors are dirty!

  2. 5 second rule works with sticky and greasy

foods.more bacteria and dirt will stick.

if your pizza landed on the sauced side then thats just

    plain nasty.

  3. its always a possibilty that just nasty

  4. Unless you dropped it on some doggie doo or a dead squirrel, you should be fine.  Next time, I would suggest, heating it up to hot (165 degrees)

  5. It depends which side it was and I do believe in the 5 second rule too. But don't do it always and you should always be very cautious of where you are.

  6. I am a firm believer in the 5-second rule.  As long as you don't do it on a daily basis, I am sure you will be fine.  :)

Oohhh.....wait.  Cheese side down or up?  That might make a difference.  *L*

  7. No. It said on a FOOD NETWORK show that if you don't clean  your kitchen enough it would be dirtier.

  8. dont worry ,yes it did pick up bacteria from the ground but your body can fight the small amount that it picked up .do not worry you will be fine

  9. obviously you shouldnt do it everyday

but you know, before our time, caveman ate the ground without the pizza! :)

youll be just fine, dont worry about it

  10. if u are that worried, somewhere in the back of yo mind u had to know that was a little over the top.

  11. Get over it. I would do the same thing and never think twice about it.

Probably it did you the world of good because it gave your immune system something to fight off. We live in such a sterile world that our

systems have been weakened by too much cleanliness and too many antibiotics.
