Picking out the right camera...help!?

Question

Okay I want a camera under 100 quid (200$)

You know the basic stuff-Good picture quality, reasonable price...yada yada...

But I want to make videos for my family back in America (since I'm in england) I want the video SOUND to be good cause most video cameras and cameras have alright sound but I want it to be really good.

Aha well is there one?

Better you go to an "on-line camera store" and check all available models and the price etc.

No I do not think you can get a camera for under £100 if you want to do all that you state, what I would do is to go along to a camera shop like Jessops and ask them for advice, telling them exactly what you want to do, and then get a price for the model and make that they suggest, and then you come home and look up the model and make and see if you can get it cheaper and buy it off the internet....hope this helps Good Luck

there is some good ones out there and they are getting cheaper all the time.

what will knock the price up is the SD or Memory card you have to buy as the ones given out with the Camera are very low, another good tip is to get one with its own battery charger so you don't have to keep buying expensive lithium batteries. i have a nice little Olympus  F E 230 i think it costs about £129 now but as I said you are looking at about £50 for a decent SD card.

best just to stroll the shops looking. Boots the chemist do some good cheap ones be live it or not.
