Pickle juice and baking soda??

what happens if you mix both together to drink just to get rid of heartburn? will i die!!!?!?!?!??!!?

Pickle juice is slightly acidic and baking soda is akaline, so they neutralize each other. It won't kill you, but it won't necessarily cure heartburn.

You should just mix 1 tsp of baking soda with 1 cup water and drink it. It is nasty but really helps with heartburn.

Heart burn is caused by acid so drinking acid isn't necessarily the best way to cure it. Most of the older heartburn remedies are bases (the opposite of acids) such as calcium and magnesium compounds. This is why baking soda works on it's own, it is a base. Milk works too (unless you're sensitive to dairy).
