Picture Question?

I was thinking about either getting a digital camera or a digital camcorder. But I have a few questions. First, if I was to get a camcorder, are there any available that will not only shoot video, but will shoot still frame pictures. If so, Im looking for one in the range of $300-$450. Second, If I get a camera, are there any available that will shoot video as well. If so, I would be looking for one in the same price range. Any one who can help me out I will be glad to give 10 points too.

Yes, there are camcorders that shoot stills - but not very well... and yes, there are still cameras that shoot video - but not very well.

In the price range you are looking at, the Canon ZR family should meet your needs. For a still camera... I'm happy with my Canon PowerShot SD1000.
