My wedding is October 25th, and I absolutely cannot decide which style I like more, both are very different... Everyone says it all depends on what I want to highlight my "hair' or my "dress", but I just want to be beautiful...I really don't care. I need help :(

Heres a pic of me in my dress

  1. The first style will hold up better for the whole day. The second one will end up looking flat and like it needs to be brushed by the reception.

  2. First things first - Love the dress. I would choose style #1 because of the detail on the back of your dress. You don't want anyone to miss that. Congrats!

  3. If this is your biggest worry, youre super lucky!  I would wear my hair down if I was you, it frames your face well if that makes sense.  with your hair up...like pic one of the dress (although I know your hair isn't "done" there), it kinda looks like something's missing

  4. Definitely style 2, you need to balance out that dress. Wear the tiara and veil, too - will look just lovely.

  5. I like style 2.

  6. Your dress is beautiful and with all that bead work, I'd suggest pulling your hair back so people can see the back of your dress. After all---it's all about that gorgeous dress! The veil and tiara can easily be worn with it up! I loved the style #1! Congrats!

  7. I would say style 1. You are spending more on the dress (I'm assuming) and I think that you should show it off to it's full potential.... you shose that dress for a reason,, make everyone else love it as much as you do! Also, then on your wedding night you can let your hair fall down and torture your new husband!=-) no matter what happens or what anyone says thouygh, it just matters that you are happy and remember it's YOUR day!

  8. i think that since you have "sleeves" on the dress that you should wear your hair up.  it would just make the back look better.  good luck

p.s. that is the same picture that i based my hair off of =)

  9. You look amazing in your dress and I am sure you will turn heads on your actually dazzling day. I think style 1 would make you look extremely elegant, if it is elegant you want to appear or you want your concept to be.

CONGRATULATIONS and HAPPY FUTURE BLESSINGS ;-).

  10. Style 1 is more elegant, it compliments the dress and allows the back detail of the dress to be seen. Plus after running around and dancing at your reception, you will probably want your hair out of the way!

  11. Lovely dress.  I think you should wear it up but not something as busy as style 1. I think since the dress has so much beading you would want to do something more simple with the hair and less curls and different pieces  in it.

  12. I like #1. It's so polished looking and will show off the detail in your dress, Hair down will hide the beautiful straps and the detail in the back.

  13. I would say number one if you are having dancing and a reception. The reason is that you are going to get hot and hair down can be a nascence when you begin to get hot. So having it up will keep it less stress for you! Hope it helps and you will look beautiful!

  14. My vote goes to style number 2! Good Luck

  15. Why not get a hair trial?

From the pictures I see of you, I prefer you with your hair down, regardless of the dress.

  16. I think both styles would look good. I personally would go with #2, the long hair is very beautiful.

  17. You have such beautiful, long healthy hair!  Wear it in style number two, it looks so beautiful.

Other option - theknot.com has some great suggestions for styles go easily from up for the ceremony to half down for the reception.

Best wishes!  Your wedding is the day after mine :)

  18. I think there's something really romantic about the second style... Plus, do you usually wear your hair down? I think your husband to be would love to see YOU walking down the aisle, whatever style is most yours... You have lovely hair and you will be a beautiful bride none the less... I wish you happiness!

  19. I am loving style # 2, i don't know i think that it will go so good with the dress witch is beautiful by the way, and i think it would better with your face structure..good luck and best wishes..........congrats

  20. I love the dress :)

I think both styles would work but I am leaning more towards style 1

  21. style 1 is most pretty

  22. 1 - it will show off the neckline of your dress.

#2 is pretty, too, but consider whether your hair will hold the curl all day long.  If you have hair that stays curled, it will look nice, but if it's going to be humid or damp, go with the updo.

  23. I would go with the second one.  since your hair seems to have a natural curls to it, I think it will hold the curls in the second style really well (I have a natural cure to mine as well and it hold great)  I think it will look really pretty down and since its October when the weather is a bit cooler, you can pull off havign your hear down.

  24. style 2

  25. Oh, Honey! you are going to look so beautiful no matter how you do your hair. You must be very excited, I'm excited for you. Your hair would be beautiful down. (hair style 2) only because, your getting married in October and october is between fall and winter, so. that style would be more suitable for the season rather then the 1st hair style, which is more summery. Don't get me wrong, both hair styles would look wonderful on you, but love the second style. BTW, your dress is absolutely gorgeous!

    Congratulations to you both.

  26. I can see why you are having trouble deciding between the two.  Both would look lovely but if I had to choose, I think I would choose style #1!!  Congrats on your big day :)

  27. 2 definitely

By the way have fun at ur wedding!!

  28. First of all, your dress is STUNNING and you are going to make a beautiful bride no matter what :)

Second, as a hairstylist myself, I'm leaning more toward style 2, but style 1 does show off more detail of your dress... so how about a combination of the 2 styles?? Like more of an updo than style 2 but not quite as up as style 1.... here's some examples of what I mean:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/simeonpetko... you can see in this pic how it's pulled up a little more closer to the nape, but still curls spill down in the middle of the style

    Good luck!!! :)

  29. If you want to see what these styles and tiaras look like actually on YOU there is a cool tool to "try on" hairstyles here:

Since you seem to wear your hair down naturally, I would suggest wearing it down on the wedding day. I chose an updo and I felt odd, looking like someone else.

  30. The first one is what I am aiming for, for my hair :)  (but my hair is just past my shoulders!)

You have gorgeous long hair .. I would go for #2 :)

  31. Hi.  OH...definitely #1.

#1 will not only highlight your beautiful dress, but your hair as well.
