I was watching a dvd in colour. I accidentally sat on the dvd remote which I'm guessing pressed a sequence of buttons. This changed the picture to black & white. I went through the dvd user manual but couldn't find any setting which toggles between colour/black & white. I would like to get the dvd to play in colour again.
It is not the TV which is causing this as normal tv plays fine in colour. The tv is also connected to a VCR which is also playing fine in colour.
Note: when the dvd player is switched on, a "Philips" screen comes on. This is in colour. It is only when the dvd is played that the colour is lost. I have tried several dvds - all in black & white.
I tried switching between PAL and NTSC, dvd still plays in black and white.
