Picture saving???

Question

does any one know where I can go to save all my files and pics??? My computer keeps turning off by itself... so I need to save everything fast and now...=)

best to backup images and files on cd/dvd,

for internet album could use yahoo flickr for some,

as for computer shutting down,

check fans for cooling,

run scandisk error checker,

and analyze drive with defragmenter,

then scan for spyware,

and if needed, run antivirus on system folder,

other possibility that too many programs running in background , and to disable any not being used,

you didn't specify where you're trying to save them from, but if they are already on your comp then they are already saved and all you need to do is get your comp looked at as to why it keeps shutting down on it's own. a few possible reasons for this could be it is overheating, so you need to make sure it's clean and free of dust (if you have a desktop), or there could be a faulty connection in the power cord, or if you have a safety cut out switch in your home, then it could be shutting off the power due to something being faulty with either your comp or something using the same outlet? also make sure you do a clean up by deleting your browsing history, temp files, offline content and cookies, and check if you need to do a defragment, and check that your comp isn't infected with a virus etc.

good luck with getting it fixed.. I know how annoying it is when this happens and what it's like to be without a comp as I am currently without mine and forced to use my cell phone =(
