Pictures and description of Cats~?

Is there a site where they have pictures/descriptions of different breed of cats? I've been searching awhile on the net, but I get very general info. Feeling quite troubled by this...

Also, what are the more active forums about cats where I can participate?

Both http://www.tica.org and http://www.cfa.org both have lists of breeds that they accept.  I know there's breed profiles on TICA's site but not sure about picture.  But you can click on "Breeders" and see breeder web pages for lots of the breeds they accept. The CFA site might have pics for each breed.

If you want a really great book on cats look for the Eyewitness Guides "Cats".  Excellent info and lots and lots of great photos of all the breeds as well as sections on types of coats, cat health, grooming, cat shows, etc.  Here's some people selling used copies of it super cheap - http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/1...  Not sure if you have "Half Price Books" or a similar used book store.  I picked mine up there for under $10.

As for forums there's used to be one called the Cats Palace that was awesome - hundreds of members from all around the world - but the people that run it shut it down.  I haven't found a really great one since.  So I'll be sure to read what other people answer!
