Pictures speak a thousand words?

Why sometimes a simple picture taken of an individual attracts a demonic entity? For e.g there was a woman who had a picture of her husband's brother in her house and she began to hear him walk up and down her house. (he died previously. he was known to be a very angry individual and distant from the family) And why do some pictures not attract any demonic entity?

What are you basing this off of? It sounds like anecdotal stories by people who subjectively interpret noises with their subjective beliefs in spirits. And how did this woman "know" these sounds were made by her deceased brother-in-law? Did the spirit provide an ID?

No, there isn't any reason to think that pictures attract demons, even assuming that demons exist in the first place.

Demons are attracted to death and suffering. If your family was in grief and especially disturbed by your late husband's brother's  negativity during life, this might have attracted something.

Lesser demons like to stir such a pot backwards to add to the misery and to increase doubt and despair.

Nobody knows why some paintings, or pictures attract spirits and some not, I guess it is the spirits who choose to go close to them.
