Pictures wont preview when i open my pictures folders?

ok i turned off some services following a tweak guide to speed vista up and something i turned off now when i go into my pictures folder or anyfolder with pictures in it normally i get a thumbnail pictures but even when im on thumbnail i dont see any preview of the picture just the standard jpg icon any ideas i dont want to have to back track if i dont have to

Reverse everything you did using the "Tweak Guide".  Then, reboot.

Still stuck?  Use "System Restore" to return your PC to a DATE before you started experimenting.
