  1. if your oven is self cleaning -set it.  otherwise use old fashioned elbow grease w/soapy water.  in the future, put another pan underneath the pie to catch drippings.

  2. They have a new cleaner called BAM in the cleaning products of stores. Get the one for ovens, follow the directions using ventilation, and it wipes up almost without any elbow grease.

  3. Soak some waded up paper towels in very hot white vinegar and place over the spot. Allow to sit for about 30 minutes then scrape with a flat device such as a plastic scraper for dishes or even an old credit card to prevent ruing the finish. Repeat if necessary. A good way to prevent this from happening, you can pour salt on the spill while still hot. Once cooled, it lifts right off with a spatula. Another option available is to purchase one of those non-stick mats that you can cut to fit your oven bottom. It seriously wipes right off and if only about $8 for two at wal-mart

  4. Its best to let them dry and then scrape them up, then use an oven cleaner to remove the little bit left around the edges!
