Piercing Trouble? Any suggestions?

i just got my corset back piercing two days ago and don't want it to get infected.

Since it is on my back there's more of a chance for my body to deny the piercing

Is there anything extra i should do than just clean it?

my piercing looks like this but with a teal color string/ribbon

  1. AHHHHHHH!

    thats so ******* creepyy.

    OWH.

  2. Maybe have someone clean it for you since it would be hard.  Why did you get that jw....doesn't it hurt to lay on.

  3. Oh my god, that freaked me out.

    who does that!!!

I can understand peircing things that are thin and easily looped through, but your back???

    weird.

  4. as soon as i saw it my jaw dropped! did that hurt? lets say in the winter (since its coming) how would u show that off without dieing from pneumonia?

  5. Wait, your profile says you're in 10th grade and your a flyer on your team???  Okay #1, that means you're underage to have this done; #2 you honestly think that as a flyer that type of piercing is safe???  #3 - When you've matured, are ready to get married, and have kids, one word comes to mind ---- REGRET! You also say you have tattoos, so something is fishy, you're posting these for yucks, or someone in your state is in deep sh** for tattooing/piercing a minor.  I think I go with you're just yanking our chain.

  6. My friend had the same thing done a month ago....the smart thing to do is get some one to clean the peircings for u so that they are acually clean.... try not to lay on your back when you sleep or put a lot of pressure on it or it will start to hurt and get infected......... i sujest use rubbing alchole but that is only me i have a quite bit of peircings and i brather feel the pain so that i no it is cleaning the peircing but if you dont like feeling the pain( which goes away in like 15 mins) then use proxide or like the ear peircing cleanser

  7. There isnt really much extra you can do other than clean the corest piercing.

It's best to keep off your back , and wear loose fitting clothes, obviously for safety and comfort reasons. your back by no doubt is proberly sore, so therfore ensure you don't lean on your back too quickly .

Although keeping the corest piercing clean is important, it will not make the piercings have any less chance of rejection.

Corest piercings are usually quite uncomfterble, and are usually classed as "play piercings" - meaning people have them for the feeling of being periced, not with the intention of keeping it.

Obviously because it's surface piercings, again it higheres the chance of rejection. On average, people only keep their corset piercing in for the maximum of 3 months.

  8. its going to reject no matter what you do if you got it pierced with a captive ring... it may even start to migrate first.

the only way for you not to get rejects is to get it done with surface barbells.  (they have 90 degree angles on the end)

sorry to inform you this, you'll have to get it pierced again.

  9. I wasn't sure if people did those (semi) permanently, I figured no one would be crazy enough to leave it in longer than a play piercing session.

I don't know about how you would take care of a corset piercing, but the person who did it probably told you things you should do to keep it clean etc. If you didn't get it done professionally, you should go to a piercing studio and ask about proper ways to care for it, and have a friend or roommate clean it for you how and when you should, because if yours is that big, you can't do a satisfactory job of keeping it clean by yourself.

    Hope I helped(:

  10. Just clean it the way your piercer suggests.

If you can't remember, just call them ^_^

  11. I love corset piercings too, but you know they are meant to be temporary, right? Even if you get them done with surface bars, you're not supposed to leave them in more than 1 month. Just clean it as normal and take them out as SOON as they start to reject. Its likely they will, and you wont be able to save them. if yo clean them well, they will stay longer, but take them out THE MINUTE you notice them rejecting to minimize the scars. But nothing other than cleaning them, and try to keep your hair up. If your hair touches them, yon't put product in your hair, and try to wash your hair to the front of your body.
