Piercing my nose by myself?

Question

Please no one going ' OMG DON'T THAT'S HORRIBLE or OMG THAT'S NASTY NOOO! ' I want to pierce it, sorry.

Here's what I want to know

- step by step EVERYTHING

- pictures of where you should do it

- does right or left mean anything?

- what could seriously go wrong if i did do it

- how to hide it from parents

i don't want it so it looks like a bull,

Heyy,

i won't say don't do it - because obviously you have your heart set on doing it.

i just want to say i've had my nose pierced, and it was the most annoying piercing ever.

But since you are planning on getting it done, i don't think the sides have any meaning. When i got mine done, they just ask what side you want it on, not seeming like either meant anything. I think maybe most people who get it done, have other piercings maybe on one side of their face, so they get their nose pierced on the other side, to even things out.

I guess i would say how to do it.. make sure you sterilize the needle like crazy. infections from nose piercings are killer.  I would have to suggest sticking something in your nose, so it doesn't go through your septum too. Maybe a cotton ball or foam or something. Then just stick the needle through, it would probably be best to have a needle bigger than the jewelery you will be putting in.

I will also have to say, for me anyways, nose rings were a huge pain in the butt. The ball-end ones hurt, and i could not get the hook ones in if my life depended on it.

And Lastly, i don't think you can really hide it from your parents. Although there may be tiny nose rings that you can buy.

Oh and i would also have to suggest once you pierce it, keep that nose ring in until it is fully healed, just like they suggest when you get it done professionally.

it doesn't hurt that bad, just make sure its clean, EVERYTHING HAS TO BE CLEAN... don't mess up obviously, and if your getting your nostril pierced don't take it out, its a piercing you have to leave in unless your going to change it...

you can;t hide a nose ring from your parents.. and percing your nose by yourself could casue a serious infection. but... if you want to. make sure you clean the area before you peirce it and clean the percing.you choose which side you want it on, it doesn't matte.

this isnt the answer u want- but dont do it- u can get infections and such- no one u can hide a crazy nose infection from parents or friends - just  ask ur parents for a nose piercin- its not expensive-

Don't do it yourself, go to someone who knows what they're doing its worth the money. I knew a girl who did a lot of piercings on herself the scars were awful. You can't really hide as you have to keep it in letting it heal for a few weeks. Seriously wrong? Infection. BAD scars and lots of pain and a trip to the doctors. Parents wouldn't be to happy then. I've had my ears eyebrow and tongue done. And if you're too young just wait, you have your whole life to get holes poked in you..
