Piercing nipple BY MYSELF?

i will do it myself, please do not go on bout infections and stuff im taking the risk, i will make sure everything is sterile. so tell me your story if you did a DIY nipple piercing? im a girl btw, and my question is if the jewelery i use to put in is a 14 gauge, does this mean the needle has to be a 12 gauge? so the needle has to be bigger then jewelery??

thanx i will buy a proper piercing needle, i was going to use a safety pin or sewing needle,but that would be 2 stupid

It's always better if someone else does it for you.. A professional will know exactly what they're doing, and also its easier to withstand the pain.

I have never tried to pierce my nipple myself but I did attempt to pierce my belly button, this is what happened:

Within the first week it became reaaly red and itchy, by week 2 it was oozing pus and by week 3 it had ripped out through my skin leaving me with an unsightly scar.

I did this when I was 15, I'm now 28 and still have the scar.

There's a reason why piercers have to be fully trained with qualifications.

I'd personally never attempt to pierce my nipple you could be left with an extremely unsightly scar.

The fact that you don't even know what gauge needle to use proves to me that you don't have a clue what you're doing.

Save your money up and go to someone who does.

The needle should be the same size, but really i wouldn't do it your self not because the infection but because of the pain some people  react differently i got mine done at a shop and passed out while my friend got theirs done and it didn't bother them. Either way good luck

Yes the hole should be slightly bigger than the jewelry. Ouch, I am cringing just thinking about this. Please be careful. A good pair of breast is a serious thing to waste.

You could actually die doing this - or be disfigured for life.

It's an extremely irresponsible thing to do.

Just go to a store and get it done. In the UK many places will do it over 16, but most will be over 18.
