Piercing your upper ear?

if you pierce the cartiledge of the upper ear will that never heal and can it cause problems, just got my nipple pierced that was sweet

i had my left cartilage done when i was 15 and it healed in 3 months. i had my right one done as well but i had a keloid and i took it out cause i had to put stuff on the keloid and i didn't know that i could have kept my piercings in cause i had 17 at one time and i had to take them out cause of keloids.... everybody is different some it takes longer to heal then others and then sometimes it won't heal at all it just depends

My guess is yes, it will be a lot harder for it to grow back, or not as good of a chance for it to grow back. The longer you have it the more likely it will always be there. But really how often to people get close to your ear to see if you have a little hole in the top?

i got my done last week and it barely hurt. it will not cause problems u just have to put alcohol on it twice a day for about 2 weeks and its gonna be fine=)

did the getting ur nipple hurt???????

it takes a long time (about a year) to heal and anything invasive can get infected.

I got one like 10 months ago..i love it but it hurt really bad for the first few months and now if I ever lay down on that ear it hurts( only if I have my ring in)

Eventually if pierced correctly, left with a good quality earring and if taken care of well through its healing period the piercing will eventually heal in time. For cartilage piercings they can take atleast upto a year to fully heal.

dude. it doesnt hurt AT ALL. i got mine done as a bday present about 2 weeks ago and i havent felt barely any pain from doing anything to it unless i smack it really hard or somehing. but i can lay on it and turn it and do everything and it still hasnt been sore or anything.
