  1. Ok, I have 13 piercings. I FREAKING LOVE MOSH PITS!!! I have my wrist pierced, and about two weeks after I got it done, GWAR was having a show and they are notorious for bad *** mosh pits. I went in wearing an ace bandage around it and it was fine! Although, many of my other piercings were stained because GWAR shoots c**p like fake blood into the audience. My contacts were stained blue. LOL. If you have a peircing you are worried about, just put a bandaid on it for the show!

  2. erm.. no. Although i do know of someone who got half their ear ripped off in judo and it was lying on the mat and they had to have their ear amputated because they had an earring in and it got caught. now its just a hole in the side of their head.

i dont get moshing. it's weird.

  3. lol, this didn't happen to me, but my friends brother. he accidently punched someone in the face and they kicked him in the knee and threw him half across the room.

    he's supa light xDD

  4. Not the best idea. If you must get in the pit (and I totally understand that!) make sure you are wearing low profile jewelry. Barbells, curved barbells or labret posts are better than rings. You want to minimize the chance that your piercing will get caught on someone's clothing or elbow. Even then I've seen a number of piercings ripped out or torn.

I think the worst I've seen was my former roommate who had one of his nipple piercings ripped out in a pit. Tore his nipple in half, blood everywhere. When it healed, the scar looks like a smiley face.

Larger gauge piercings are harder to tear out then smaller ones. A good thing to keep in mind :)
