Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang willing to join Monaco – Football news
Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s dad has claimed that a number of clubs want to sign the player after a great year in French league, but stressed that Stade Louis II is the priority right now.
Saint-Etienne prolific scorer, Aubameyang, could follow suit of James Rodriguez and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276 to make a classic attacking trio at Monaco as suggested by his father. The star player has been rumoured to a move to Anzhi Makhachkala, Borussia Dortmund
and a couple of English Premier League clubs.
“Much of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 talk is true, but proposals come from everywhere,” Aubameyang senior, himself a former professional footballer, added.
The young prodigy scored netted 19 goals in 37 league matches this term for the Ligue 1 side. His father claimed that a lot of Bundesliga rumours are true but further added that they are listening to offers from a host of European clubs. Aubameyang senior
was also a player himself back in the days.
“I believe that we will be able to continue the discussions,” he said.
He stated that they will take time before deciding what is best for the striker. Nevertheless, he did not rule out a move to Stade Louis II as he would want him to play for them next season. He suggested that Monaco is another option but for that they will
need to show interest or meet him directly.
“Monaco? If they come see or see me directly, it is clear that there will be an exchange with them. When you see the Monaco project, [it can be seen that] this will be a serious competitor of PSG. This kind of club will be successful in a year or two. That
is what I am now looking for my son,” the former player finally concluded.
He said that Monaco are showing intent to challenge the domination of PSG as they have already signed world class stars and are looking forward to add more firepower to their squad. He predicted that Monaco can win a title this season or the next and it
would be ideal for his son to sign for such a team.
