The former FC Koln winger is confident that Podolski will continue his goal scoring form at his new club and admits that the striker has a great chance to win silverware.

Littbarski mused that Podolski is an outstanding talent and will be a hit at the Emirates. He reckons that the attacker has made a perfect decision at this stage of his career and appreciated his performances for Koln which helped
him developing into a player who is rated highly by some of Europe’s top clubs.

right decision to sign for Arsenal. He has always given his all for Koln and has put in many good performances.”
On the other hand, Littbarski specified that Podolski has given his all for Koln and it is completely up to him to decide his future. He added that the player knows exactly what he is doing and that the attacker must have made
a correct decision after tasting success in Germany for the past decade.

Podolski has so far netted 33 goals for the Billy Goats this season from 87 appearances and will play his last match in the Bundesliga this weekend against Bayern Munich on Saturday, April 5, at the RheinEnergieStadion.
Koln are 16th in the league standings and badly need a win to stay alive in the top division.
