  1. Thank god for that. The old farts at the MCC have let something entertaining be allowed to continue. Long live switch hit!

  2. Just as i expected Binga!

I think the media and pundits may have mis-interpreted what the MCC were actually reviewing! In my opinion, the MCC were NOT reviewing the legality of the "Switch hit", BUT they were reviewing the rules to accommodate the shot.

I actually think the MCC had no problem with the shot at all, its an entertaining shot! it gives spectators what they want to see (Entertainment). I think the MCC were checking rules such as, at what point would it be a wide if Pietersen missed the ball OR if the ball hits KP plum infront of the wicket, do you treat KP as a left-hander or a right-hander??

I dont know if the MCC have changed any rules regarding LBW or wides, or if they are just going to carry on with the same rules. BUT i am glad that all this talk about the "Switch hit" being illegal is finally going to go away!

Its a genius shot played by a genius player!! why cant people just enjoy the shot!

  3. I could be quite interesting when a player mis-judges the shot and loses a few teeth, or perhaps something a little more "below the belt"!

  4. i think it is ok becoz that was a great and special invented shot.

  5. I thought, sure they must be having a slow day at the MCC. Storm in a teacup as they say.
