Yorkshire's director of cricket, Martyn Moxon, believes that veteran batsman Kevin Pietersen's return to the English squad will not affect http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Lumb-c1981 Root's place in the Test side scheduled to tour India, later this year.
Joe Root and Nick Compton are the two uncapped players in England’s 16-man Test squad announced for the winter tour of India, which does not includes the likes of Kevin Pietersen and former skipper Andrew Strauss.

“It will be fantastic for him; he does not have to worry too much. He just needs to play his natural game and then see what happens. Even if he does not play much, he will still learn a lot. It is a win-win, really,” he added further.
