Former England skipper Alec Stewart said on Wednesday said the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KP-Pietersen-c1806’s exclusion from the 16-man touring party for India Tests was not a surprise to him. However, he conceded that the controversial batsman's absence would be felt during the crucial series, to be played in unfavourable subcontinent conditions, in November this year.
“It was no great shock to see Kevin Pietersen left out of the squad for the India Test series after his much-publicised issues with the England and Wales Cricket Board,” said Stewart during a media interaction today.
