  1. I've built a cage! It was very easy too!

The bottom is about 3ft by 2.5ft and is made out of coroplast (we used an old political sign after the elections were over).

The sides are made out of those wire squares that people use to make cubes to organize their closets (I got mine at walmart). We zip tied all the sides together so it's like there's a "fence" around the coroplast bottom.

My piggies LOVE their cage! I've had it for almost 2 years now and it has worked great. I love that the top is completely open so that I can easily reach in and pet them.

I would definitely recommend building a new cage...cavycages.com is great, i think this is where I got my ideas from.

    Good luck!

  2. C&C are the best cages for guinea pigs. They need lot of room to excercise, no ceder bedding, and veggies daily.

  3. I built one, and my piggies love it.  They have TONS of room, and they're very easy to clean and fun to decorate.  Just make sure you use cubes where the squares are under 1", because my boys could squeeze out of the bigger squares. (and the youngest one is like 2 years old, they're all full grown.)

  4. hmm, i dont relaly buuild cause im lazy lols. but i have one guinea pig and its cage is pretty bigg... i think its 5.7 .... since you have 2 guinea pigs then i think you should get one thats bigger than mine.... maybe 6.4 or something? if you dont understand the 5.7 and 6.4 then its okay cause i dont know what the h**l im talking about ><
