  1. Don't spay or neuter your guinea pigs (and don't get spayed or neutered guinea pigs for that matter). Now, the chances of a male and female guinea pig fighting, are the same chances of two male guinea pigs fighting. It all depends on the character of the individual pig.

  2. If they are spayed / neautered then they wouldnt fight.

    USUSALLY

If u was thinking about it tho you should introduce them slowly.

    (:

  3. If given enough space, they would be fine http://www.guinealynx.info/companionship...

  4. with Guinea Pigs..  you have to get 2 that were raised together from a young age..

otherwise they will fix, fixed or not.

you cannot introduce a new piggy...

  5. On the contrary to what the answer before me said, you CAN introduce a new guinea pig. Is it safer not to? On some occasions, yes. But that is the exception.

It is very, very unlikely that a spayed/neutered female/male pair would fight, BUT it isn't an exact science. Every pair is different and it definately could happen.

If you wanted to have a neutered male and spayed female living together, then that is your choice and likely won't be a problem. :)

  6. Not if they were spayed and neutered, they wouldn't normally fight no. Of course never house them together un-fixed or they'll mate.

Even 2 males that are very friendly, some people say they have to be from the same litter but some don't, they wouldn't even normally fight.
