Pike fishing?

Question

can any one tell me of any pike fisheries in the north east of england as close to county durham as possible? i wish to catch one of these monsters on the fly!

try a quiet reedy canal, must be a few around you. i dont know you're area but you can feel if a place is right, if fly fishing be aware of whats behind you & above, power cables etc. just go & explore really, you do'nt want to be surrounded by others, which would be an issue on a fishery. anyway fisheries are for non fishermen....
