Pilara Piaget’s Bautista Heguy optimistic for a better show in Argentina Open Polo Championship

Veteran polo pro and Pilara Piaget’s player, Bautista Heguy, is quite optimistic for delivering wonderful performances in the 118th version of the Argentine Open Polo Championship, scheduled to be played from November 19 to December 9, at the
Campo Argentino de Polo, in the Argentinean city of Buenos Aires.
Bautista Heguy was of the opinion that some teams will have to challenge the polo giants, La Dolfina and Ellerstina, in the tournament. Similar to others teams, the foursome of Pilara Piaget also has plenty of expectations, he added.
Explaining the hopes, he stated, “We're going to see if we can come away with a good result against La Aguada. If you win or lose that match, the tournament varies a lot, so we're thinking only about the first match. We're a new team that has not been playing
for such a long time as La Aguada has, but if things turn out well we can beat them”.
In the first match, Pilara Piaget will take on La Aguada that will decide its fate for the future encounters. Heguy stated that they will have to remain enduring in order to accomplish proper attacks.
He further explained that La Aguada is quite an organised team and they (Pilara) will have to maintain their order in the game if they wanted to win it.
The Argentinean polo pro expressed that teams other than Ellerstina and La Dolfina should be in the final stages. He, however, stated that the duo always plays openly and fantastically to win a place in the title-claiming match.
The need of the hour is that some teams should challenge these polo giants in order to make the tournament more spirited and enchanting.
Heguy informed that their mares are in a fine shape and they will surely make the victory possible in the first game of the tournament.
He stated that they will have to change a few things that they did wrong in the Tortugas and Hurlingham Polo Championships.
In his view, they were lacking coordination among the players in the last two legs of the Triple Crown, that he hopes, they will not repeat in the upcoming tournament.
In the final remarks, he expressed hopes for showing solid performances against the best foursomes, as well as earning good results for the team.
