I wish i registered for it.. I never realised how good it was until it was almost over. Now I'm regretting not registering after many months of knowing about it.. I'm in Sydney as well.. so I'm pretty much kicking myself.. Its a once in a lifetime thing, and will probably never happen again in Sydney.. Its amazing how people from all over the world gather in one city, for just one event. I didnt apreciate the protests though, handing out condoms is so inappropriate..

I'm saving up money to go to spain in 2011.

I'm not a pilgrim but I had four of them staying with me in Coffs Harbour for "Days in the Diocese" before going down to Sydney last Monday for WYD, and I know they loved it all, because two of them emailed me from Sydney. I think it was a great event for Christianity, for Sydney and yes, a fantastic promotion for Australia as a tourist destination - you can't buy that kind of publicity!
