  1. Part 61.56 - CERTIFICATION: PILOTS, FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS, AND GROUND INSTRUCTORS

    (c) Except as provided in paragraphs (d), (e), and (g) of this section, no person may act as pilot in command of an aircraft unless, since the beginning of the 24th calendar month before the month in which that pilot acts as pilot in command, that person has--

    (1) Accomplished a flight review given in an aircraft for which that pilot is rated by an authorized instructor; and

    (2) A logbook endorsed from an authorized instructor who gave the review certifying that the person has satisfactorily completed the review.

  2. Check the Airmens Information Manual (AIM Book). it will have all you need to know.

Never mind the thumbs down, check the FAR`s and the AIM book trust me!

  3. Basically everything you want to know for the US will be in the Federal Aviation Regulations Part 61 (14 CFR Part 61):

General, night, and instrument recent experience requirements:

    Flight Review:

These may or may not be relevant for what you are looking for.

    Medical Certificates

    CFI Renewal

I use an online logbook and it has e-mail reminders for general and night currency, flight review, and instrument currency. I don't remember off hand if it reminds for CFI renewals or medicals.

I suppose you could also add in a log for duty times and whatnot, like under part 135.
