what books would be good to read if i intend on taking pilot lessons?

  1. The book "From the Ground Up" is awesome if you ever plan on learning to fly in Canada. Most of it also applies to the US.


  2. John and Martha King are great I agree. Also look at Sportys (www.sportys.com). They have a number of books on aviation. I might recommend anything by Rod Machado; he has a way of explaining flying with a sense of humor added. Just make sure you get books that are for beginning or non-pilots. You don't want to get too technical right away. Avoid anything for instrument or commercial applications right away; those will come later.
