Am I right in saying that if I get sponsored to do Pilot Training by a company then I don't have to pay a penny?

How do I go about becoming sponsored?

Thanks xx

  1. You might not have to pay a penny, but the sponsors will find some means of making back their investment in you, be it a training contract or some form of indentured servitude.

    There are no free rides.

  2. Your chances of being sponsored for Pilot Training by a company are zilch!  It is a nice dream but it is NOT going to happen!

  3. yeh i think thats right..

  4. I absolutely, positively guarantee you that you won't get sponsored anywhere in the United States, except by the military.  There are way too many qualified pilots who either paid their own way, or are still paying.  There is no reason for anybody to pay for your training, when there are so many pilots available that are willing to pay for it themselves.  Like I said, your only chance in the US is with the military.

That said, other countries have sponsorship programs, but you have to be a citizen of that particular country.  Indonesia and Malaysia come to mind as countries that have sponsorship programs.  But, like I said, you have to be a native of that particular country in order to qualify.
