Is there any other pilot sponsorship schemes in the United Kingdom or europe like CTC wings?

  1. Well yes but not many after 9/11, good idea is do your own researc and by doing so pcik up knowledge of the industry as it is highly competitive, you cant just apply and get these days unfortunatly.


  2. Hey mate. Im an FO for Qantas based in Brisbane Australia. You should come over here. I studied at uni for three years and got a cadetship. AND THE MONEY IS DOUBLE what you make in the uk mate. Australian costof living is p**s cheap

  3. Probably.  Ask around at a local airport.  Ask local flight instructors.  Contact CTC and ask about their competitors.

  4. I know easyjet does some, but most airlines such as British Airways only do direct entry schemes. It seems that the sponsored pilot entry is not favoured by airlines because of the time and money it takes to train you up.

  5. Unfortunately CTC Wings is one of the only major sponsorship programs that are still around.

    Most airlines that still offer sponsorship (such as EasyJet and some other low-cost airlines) do so through CTC after a lot of other programs were abandoned following 9/11.
