Lokomotiv Moscow moved to the 3rd spot on the Russian Premier League table after winning their latest league tie 3-0 against Terek Grozny at Stadion Akhmad Arena on Saturday.
The Railroaders head coach, Slaven Bilic, was delighted with his side’s performance at the weekend. The Croatian tactician concluded that his side is getting better and better with every match and have a chance to win the league
title this season.
However, Ruslan Pimenov has warned Bilic not to make statements at this stage of the season, saying that it is still too early to make preliminary conclusions about what the Moscow-based club will be achieving this season.
Even last year, the Railroaders had a series of fantastic results during the second league round under former coach, Jose Couceiro. The Portuguese tactician helped the Russian outfit in claiming the top-spot on the league table
for a while.
However, he failed to retain the position after a series of disappointing results during the third league round last season.
“Everyone was waiting the match between the two leaders. However, Lokomotiv Moscow came on top. The team is doing good in the league and the fans are passionately supporting their team. I respect Bilic but I think it’s still too
early to make conclusions.”
“Of course, the coach deserves applause for their recent performances but he needs to make his new team accustomed of winning by demanding consistent performance. I'm sure Bilic, who despite his young age can play a significant
role at the club.” The Russian Super Cup winner was quoted as saying.

Pimenov admitted that the Parovozy’s failure to secure European football is somewhat a blessing in disguise, saying that the Moscow-based club are now concentrating to win the league title.
