Pimping my Bike?

How can i pimp my bike? I know you can spray paint it but does anyone have any good designs?

depends what you mean pimping?i have a red framed kona  so to make it stand out i pick 3 colours thats on the frame in my case was red,black,white, so i try to match every thing with them eg: red kenda tyres, white look pedals, white rockshox forks, red bull bars, red/black seat, red bottle holder with white bottle, it just makes the bike look better than spraying every thingand with spraying they chip of very easy then your left with a tatty looking bike.

Step 1: Take off the brakes and derailleurs, turn it into a single speed in the most unsafe way possible, by gluing the single cog directly onto the hub!  Make sure your back cog is as small as possible (13 or lower preferred) and your front cog has at least 50 teeth.

Step 2: Repaint the original beautiful vintage paint job with a $3 can of spray paint from home depot.

Step 3: Replace your wheels with a pair of bright green velocity deep V's with custom decals as seen here:

Step 4: Forget to stop and crash straight into traffic

I put black and yellow insulation tape around my bike - bar ends, frame, down-tube etc. I also put small pieces of reflective tape wherever I could on the frame. Both of these features were

1) cheap

2) looked quite cool

3) acted as a warning to people and made me more noticable on the roads

4) lasted for a long time

5) could easily be removed if I got fed up with it.

Insulation tape is cheap as chips and can be found in any shop that sells tools, electrical bits and bobs and so on. Reflective tape is around in most bike shops.

You could pimp your bike... or you could grow up and do something worthwhile.

I pimp motorcycles for a living.

Find a theme and carry it through.

For instance ... if you went for flames , get things like pedals n other parts made in a flamed style.

If you do it right it can be awesome.

My bike has won 82 shows so far.
