Pimple like bump on my areola

Question

I'm 24 years old and I have a medium pimple like bump on my areola for a few days. It has no puss or white head though. It is red/pink. I have been messing with it (trying to squeeze it to see if any puss comes out) but nothing. It is tender when I squeeze it. I did have a baby in April and stopped breast feeding in early July.What do you think it is? Should I call my midwife or wait until I see her at the end of the month? Thanks! Im worried!

sounds like a motgomery gland. they are a gland that produce a waxy substance to coat your nipples while breastfeeding. you are probably still hormonally changing. leave it alone and it should go away.
