Anne C: I agree with you. Lack of sleep is one of the culprits for the volcanic eruption. I didn't get any sleep this weekend because I was glued to the weather channel anxiously watching Hurricane Gustav approach and make its landfall in New Orleans. I'm glad the levees held up.

  2. hmmmmmm weeiirrd..

    but usually toothpaste works..

  3. The best cure is to grow up.  Then it isn't a promise.

Healthy skin care and diet will help.

You eat chocolate you get a zit.  That's life.

  4. less fat, more fruits and vegetables...

  5. Most simple way I can think of is wash your face frequently, have a good oil control astringent, and oil control film. Most times, we get pimples because of excessive oil and dirt.

Sometimes though, it has to do with your genes. If that is so, try to go to a dermatologist. My cousin has a major pimple problem. A procedure was done to prevent a volcanic pimple's pus spread out to form baby volcanoes on his face.=P

    Hope this helps.

  6. i have the same problem before but when i used the cetaphil ( http://www.health-care-beauty.com/Cetaph... all my people disappeard...try it...

  7. I'm among those lucky enough not to be attacked by zits.  But the rare times they do, oh boy, big big big!!!  And usually the result of consecutive all-nighters and stress (as in exam week).  Vain as I am, I just let it be.  I do of course camouflage it with make-up, which unfortunately for you, is not an option.   Best advice kid, just ride it out.

But I like the answer of John C.  Makes a lot of sense.

  8. causes of acne varies from one person to another. So the usual treatment would be in the trial and error polity. The first step and the most practical way would be the proper skin hygiene. Improving diets, and sleeping habits. Being able to distinguish substances that comes in contact with our facial skin, soaps, shampoos, toners, powders, etc..sometimes incompatibility with some chemicals contained in these products, causes pimple eruptions too. Sometimes it is hormonal, such cases are easily managed with certain contraceptive pills. At the end of the day, when all things fail, it is always wise to consult a professional specially for severe cases :p
