Pinarello prince 2004 SL?

I dream of having a pinarello prince frame, but recent model is really out of reach.I recently found 2004 model new frame on sale and only cost USD1500.The fork and the rear stay are both carbon using ONDA.I'm only new cycling and i understand that earlier carbon design are not yet good.I'm afraid i will be getting a poor quality frame since it is a 2004 model.I hope i'm wrong.Need your advise.

do not worry about the quality, what you have too look for is the condition of the bike. bargain with the guy, it is a fair price

Carbon frames can get fractured or greensticked without showing any outward signs. Better know who you're buying from because even an expert can miss a pranged carbon frame. $1500 is a good price but not too cheap for a 2004. I hope it's legit!

I wouldn't worry. Pinarello is a top of the line brand. CF frame technology has been around for decades now. A 4 year old Penarello frame that was care for will be excellent.
