  1. Pinesol is fine, but if your tub is fiberglass or other soft material, do not use Ajax, Comet, etc as it scratches the surface.  If you must use a dry powder, use Bon Ami, it doesn't scratch.

  2. It is safe to clean tub with Pine-Sol; fill tub 1/2 way with warm water and 1/4 cup of Pine-Sol and swish around with cloth or sponge  and drain then fill tub 1/2 way again and add baking soda and let sit for 15 to 30 minutes and drain.

  3. First, I would disinfect it with bleach then use a heavy dose of Ajax. Followed by the pinesol. Dont take a bubble bath!!!

  4. im sure it would work just fine. But I personally cant stand the smell of it so i never use it.  I would just use some dish soap. if its good enough to clean dishes than it should be good enough to clean your bathtub.  besides, most of the dirty-ness after cleaning a slamander and a bullfrog is prolly just plan old dirt, which should rinse away, or wipe out with a sponge.

  5. Yes pine sol is a disinfectant. If you have comet I would suggest using that too.
