Pineapple juice in cooking?

Question

i read somewhere once that pineapple juice can be used instead of oils in nonstick cooking, has anyone else heard/tried this? if so what happened/did it say?

hmmmmm i shall think it would be good for gammon stek to cook it in  dont know about it being a substitution for  oil thought

It's good for marinades thats all I have used it for!
