Ping G10 driver Vs Callaway Hyper X?

Question

Have decided to get a new driver and came to two drivers that i really liked. i would be getting it in a 9 or 9.5 in a stiff flex does anyone have any pros or cons about either driver?

I have not tried the Callaway but tested the G10 and bought one. I have the 9 degree stiff flex and I gained about 15 yards over my previous driver. The best driver I have owned.  I play to an 8 handicap.  I have not noticed any feel or vibration problems, just a great sound and extra distance.  Good luck

I played them both during the demo day at my local range. While Ping G10 is a great driver. I love how the Callaway Hyper X addresses at ball. X doesn't have close degree clubface and it doesn't look 'HUGE' appearance like Ping eventhough they are same 460cc. I love the sound of Callaway X. Hyper X made it to 2008 Golf Digest Hot list as well.

G10 has rough impact in the hand eventhough you hit them square in the face, while Callaway has that 'soft' feel to it.

I ended up buying Hyper X Tour 9.5 Stiff just yesterday - super driver.

I say try out both, I am sure you will see and feel what I am talking about.

I've had the G10 driver for about 2 weeks before exchanging it for a Cleveland Hybore.  I've never hit the Callaway but I have heard great things about it.  For me though I love the Hybore.  The G10 just didn't hit like I thought it did when I was trying it in the store.
