the serve where it hits oppenent's side then comes back to net; is it legal? if so, can the ball contact just a few cm on opponent's side of net then hit the net?

yeap.it's legal.ma lin is a very good server,and he knows exactly where to place the ball,but the best server remains timo boll with his serve left handed cut into the center of the racket!
