Pingel Petcock???????

Question

the postiions are "off, reserve and on" when the bike sputters on almost empty, how does the reserve (middle postiion) work? just curious! fiber, a way of life......

It controls the flow of Geritol.

look inside the tank, you will see that the reserve inlet is lower and therfore catches the last little bit of fuel. Usually just enough ta get to a gas station.

See the tube inside the screen? That where your regular position feeds from. When it get below that level, the bike will start sputtering. Flipping to reserve lets it feed from the area where the bottom of the screen is.
