  1. Pinhole glasses will give you an improved visual acuity at the center of your vision- but they will limit it to that exact center spot.  You would not have peripheral vision beyond that center.  It's really rather a trick of the eye, so to speak- and not actually a full time solution to your problem.  They really aren't substitutes for a regular prescription lens.  You can't wear them for driving or operating machinery, because of the limitations on peripheral vision and also brightness.  They are not really legal in the US either, although you can order them.  If you took them with you for a driver's lisence exam, they would refuse to give you one.  If you get caught driving with them on, you get a ticket.  If you have an accident at work wearing them, workman's comp won't pay.  Neither will your insurance company quite possibly.  They also have no effect on actually improving the condition of your eye which gives you myopia.  Just wear the glasses or get contacts.  That's a lot easier and safer in the long run.
